My eldest son, Jordan Peter Hull, born on 16th January 1999, died age almost 3 yrs old, of a very rare form of Meningitis,strain w135, from mecca, not known in our country. He died new years eve, in 2002. He had been ill all day, mainly sleeping, but kids sleep when they are ill. Later that evening he became delerious, saying he couldnt see me and he freaked out. I rushed him to a doctor, he had what i can only describe as epileptic fits all the way to the doctors. When we got there we couldnt wake Jordan up, but the doctor said he was sleeping and he had been having muscles spasms because of a high temperature with a cold. He checked his mouth and eyes, and missed the tell tale signs. I got home, and layed him on the sofa, within 10 mins he had stopped breathing. It took an ambulance 45 mins to get to us, of which my husband at the time had been breathing for him. He went downhill so quickly and suddenly, giving me only a few hours with him in a coma once at the hospital, before i was told the machines needed turning off cause there was no hope, all i could then do was unplug him from the wires and hold him on his way to the angels in waiting. He was my life, and it still hurts and affects me today, 7 yrs later, that he is gone. This put my marriage through hell and he left me to deal with my grief alone. We eventually drifted apart and i left him. I really need my friends and family to help me fullfil my wish in raising the money for the meningitis fund, in one day hoping that they may find a cure, and that noone else will have to feel the pain i go through everyday. No parent ever deserves to feel pain of losing a child, so please help me today. You wont ever understand how appreciative i will be for your help in raising any funds. lamyar hull
